Sevensol & Bender - Das Ideale Geschenk

Born, raised and based in Leipzig, Germany, Sevensol and Bender are the founders of the long-running label KANN Records, home to the likes of Map.ache, Polo, Traumprinz and Falke.

Both artists are veterans of the scene, with a considerable number of years under their proverbial belts manning record shops, throwing club-nights, producing and DJing solo or as part of the duo Manamana (Sevensol + Map.ache) in venues and festivals which include Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, IFZ, De School, Corsica Studios, Heideglühen, Nachtdigital and Waking Life.

'Das Ideale Geschenk', their newest outing on their own label hits home with an elegant three track EP that slides the classic house feel into a contemporary dance robe. The dreamy bells and chimes of Opener 'Mythen Center Korfu' reach out through the deepest folds of the night. 'Driftwood' glides along, smoothly underpinned by a solid electro backbone and 'Rhythmus Tool' lives up to its name, with a DJ ready rhythmic funk tool designed to bust up dancefloors.
