Portuguese producer Ricardo Cardoso aka Ritz debuts on Piston Recordings with the tantalizingly seductive two tracker entitled Daydream EP. A relative newcomer on the scene Ricardo used to go by m0u53 and has seen several releases across various labels in the last couple of years. His Ritz moniker is dedicated to all things house. Dreams is quite simply a superb slice of blissful house music with nice deep groove that will seduce you with its smooth vibes and inviting presence. A steady flowing rhythm is driven by tight drums and shuffling percussions while the groovy bassline weaves effortlessly through the track. A plethora of keys and pads dish out intricate melodies that captivate. The melodies are backed up by some sultry vocals that blend so beautifully into the sound. A fantastic construction of sounds perfectly suited to late loungy sets, a must have.

Mesh delivers a brilliant slice of deep house. It's one of those tracks that forces you to let go on the floors, the driving nature of the track ensures this. Punchy kick drums are joined by crispy hi hats and a tight percussion arrangement. The big player though are those wonderful chords and expertly crafted arps that sit perfectly over the driving bassline. Cool vocals grace the track adding textures along with an ever building synth section. Top notch stuff you will not want to miss.
