Keeping the original’s roots in forward-thinking and bass heavy sounds intact, DBN & Jordan Ferrer have reworked Bedingfield’s track into a modern hybrid of house and electro that lends itself perfectly to the UK Bass explosion of recent years. The resulting record is one that not only serves as a perfect tribute to one of the biggest tracks of the early 21st century, but also stands alone as a certain hit that seems destined to be filling clubs in 2015.
Daniel Bedingfield’s now-classic number 1 single ‘Gotta Get Thru This’ is, to many, the biggest crossover hit of the early 00’s UK Garage phenomenon. The track itself transcended the clubs, into the mainstream and typified the sound of a generation. Now with their 2015 reboot, DBN & Jordan Ferrer are pushing to go even further.
