In an age where techno is becoming more prominent than ever, artists have begun to explore the many different subgenres within this esteemed brand of music that is now more commercial than ever before too. This is what came to mind when both Dea Magna and Eric Sharp brought together their sonic visions, and have created something truly mesmerising and powerful in their offering ‘Red Room’.
Inspired by modern and enhanced techno, this pair wanted to hone in on the more melodic side. Featuring vocalist Pierre Stemmett, he takes the track to a whole other dimension in the track. The moment before the breakdown is truly captivating, when Emmett’s voice drops out and Magna and Sharp’s empowering and hypnotic bassline takes over, with pulsating synths and a melody throughout it that sticks.
