Scott Monteith (aka Deadbeat) has had a strong passion for the development of new creative interfaces, since working in his home city of Montreal, at Applied Acoustics Systems. The minimal artist strives to create interesting, imaginative music by infusing tools of the present day with a little magic known as human imperfection.
Scott continues to search for his own unique sound with new release ‘Mountains from Mole Hills’. The track is no standard techno beat; it’s filled with distorted snares, echoed cracks and cow bells. All carried by a bold bass drum, which forms the foundations for the soulful melody. Infused with smooth synths and a harmonic horn section, this minimal track definitely showcases Deadbeats unique sound.
Deadbeat ‘Mountains from Mole Hills’ is available now from all digital stores; including Spotify, iTunes, Google, Traxsource and Beatport.
