Next up on emerging label ICONS/PRMD is Swedish DJ/ producer Dear David. His debut release ‘I’ve Been Waiting’ is out on 22nd July 2014.
With a warm, summer time vibe, ‘I’ve Been Waiting’ moves away from the more EDM sounding tracks that PRMD is usually known for, instead leaning towards a cooler, deeper sound.
The track combines smooth, gentle vocals with funky synths that skirts the line between deep house and progressive house. Maintaining a chilled-out vibe, the track fuses silky melodies, and a soft drum beat for a gorgeous Summer anthem.
Swedish born Dear David has already been hand-picked by the prestigious record label ICONS/ PRMD. With an official remix for Cazzette’s ‘Sleepless’ under his belt and his first original release imminent, the future looks bright for this talented producer.
PRMD Records (pronounced pyramid) is the recently launched independent record label behind emerging artists Cazzette and Morten Breum, as well as global icon Avicii. Based in the historic district of Stockholm, PRMD also has top of the line music and video production facilities.
With a strategy of creating innovative campaigns and taking the music to the fans first, PRMD has already grown into a label with a forward thinking reputation. Until now, PRMD Records’ primary focus has been on electronic music, but with the success of Avicii and Cazzette, it is expanding its repertoire to include pop and urban signings, to be announced later this year.
The ICONS sub-label was created for electronic artists to better identify the music for the marketplace and to provide specialized artist development strategies for all the artists signed to PRMD.
