December Rose release “Apple Tree” Remixes ft. In Da Disco Remix

In October 2020, December once again dove into the chapters of her life to bring listeners her single “Apple Tree” – a song dedicated to personal change and faith. “Ultimately the song is about focusing on the light ahead and reaching to do what is good even when it doesn’t seem to be the most appealing choice”, says December. Apple Tree was produced by Steve Galante. Steve also produced December’s 2019 single, “Raise Your Voice” which earned her the 2020 Top 40 New Artist of the Year award from New Music Weekly. Now as a follow-up to the single, December is set to release a new 4 track EP of remixes from The Marrs Barrs—a DJ collective and music production group based out of Toronto, Ontario. The EP also contains a bonus stripped-down acapella mix of the song which beautifully highlights December’s vocals.

Artist Quote – ““Ultimately the song is about focusing on the light ahead and reaching to do what is good even when it doesn’t seem to be the most appealing choice”, says December. “A few years ago, I was apple picking at a farm. I saw all the best apples at the top of the tree, but I couldn’t reach them. Around this same time, I was going through spiritual evolution with my Christian faith. I was wrestling with the need for personal change and the fear of those changes, all while still finding comfort in knowing it was all going to be for the best. In a heartbeat, the lyrics came out””
