Déepalma Records steps into a new chapter with the launch of its Déepalma Spotlight series — a project dedicated to honouring the artists who have played a pivotal role in shaping the label’s identity. Opening the series is German-born, Spain-based producer Mika Olson, a long-standing member of the Déepalma family whose blend of groove-rich, emotive house has become a core part of the imprint’s DNA.
Déepalma Spotlight: Mika Olson features 13 essential tracks, including 12 originals and a striking remix of “Carry On” by Rosario Galati & Yves Murasca, offering a deep dive into Mika’s artistic journey. From early underground favourites like What I Need and Tomorrow to a selection of handpicked cuts showcasing his unmistakable sound, the release captures his ability to merge classic house influences with cutting-edge production.
Mika’s relationship with the label dates back to 2014, when he made his Déepalma debut with Now & Here. Since then, his consistent output and energetic DJ sets have positioned him as a prominent figure within Europe’s house community, drawing on his roots in ’80s and ’90s electronic music while pushing his craft forward with every release.
The launch of Déepalma Spotlight marks a new milestone for the imprint, honouring the creatives who have helped define its evolution. And with Mika Olson leading the way, the series starts on a truly standout note.
Déepalma Spotlight: Mika Olson is out now on Déepalma Records.
