Warsaw-based DJ/Producer Deeplomatik follows releases on Sublease Music, No Fuss Records, Adesso Music, VIVa, and more with a return to celebrated electronic imprint Déepalma Records. Last appearing with original material in the form of ‘The Feeling’ in 2020, Deeplomatik is back with an impressive three-track EP titled ‘Orbital Dance’.
The title cut ‘Orbital Dance’ kicks things off with jungle-tinged drum grooves and pulsating low-end drive, steered by vocal chops, subtle synth shots and rippling arps to carve out a deep and dreamy late-night dancefloor romancer.
‘Disco Invaders’ comes next with swinging rhythms and a modulating envelope of filtered sampling that flood the track’s core with cadence and vivid harmonics. Highlighted by its continuum of intricate percussive flare and evolving energy throughout, it’s another undeniably profound and utterly absorbing club roller.
‘Groove Slap’ ends the EP on a chunkier, more techy note. Riding a pleasant wave of chugging drums and shuffling hat sequences, its reverberated off-beat fills and tonal percussive injections breathe even more life into an immersive and unique track, tied together with soulful licks of vocal presence and atmospheric transitional segments.
