Defected hits Bristol’s In:Motion

On Saturday 15 November, Defected makes its very first appearance at Bristol’s In:Motion, taking over both rooms of the famed Motion club.

In Room 1, Defected In The House plays host to two UK chart-toppers and deep house dons Duke Dumont and Secondcity, Defected resident Sam Divine and Shenoda, who collaborated with Huxley on the Defected Records-released Chatsworth Sound EP. Defected sister imprint DFTD takes control of Room 2, with Flashmob krankbrother and Cristoph at the helm.

Set in the heart of Bristol, the sprawling Motion is a former skate park with a network of warehouses, cobbled front courtyard and large outdoor riverside terrace provide a unique backdrop for large scale music events. Promoting forward-thinking music in all of its forms, the club has played host to some of the world’s biggest artists and labels, not least through its acclaimed In:Motion series.

The 2014 schedule kicks off with the Groove Armada-headlined Opening Party 04 October, with appearances from Skream, Grandmaster Flash, Lil Louis, and many more further cementing it as one of the UK’s foremost party series.

This winter both Defected In The House and DFTD embark on UK tours. Events at Junk (Southampton) 18 October and XOYO (London) 24 October are already confirmed, with more dates to be announced in the coming weeks.
