Defected In The House Ibiza 2015

Mixed by Defected’s founder Simon Dunmore and spread over three flawlessly mixed and deeply dug CDs, Defected In The House Ibiza 2015 features cuts from the world’s greatest producers, including Guti, Reboot, Session Victim, Chez Damier, Sonny Fodera, Louie Vega, Damian Lazarus and many more.

This season Defected has stepped up its Ibiza game once again with a move to Amnesia, turning the legendary Terrace into their house music playground alongside highly respected events brand Together. Defected In The House Ibiza 2015 distils Defected’s unique take on the sound of Ibiza, comprising the kind of exemplary house music you’ll hear at their weekly Tuesday residency.

Tracks of note include Vince Watson’s stunning ‘Eminence’ and ‘Black Concept’ from Tommy Bones on the revitalized Strictly Rhythm imprint, both of which are Traxsource chart-toppers and epitomize the deep, groove-led house vibes of CD1. 

Further upfront cuts include Logic ‘The Warning’ (Richy Ahmed Mix), GotSome ‘Just A Feeling’ (Sonny Fodera Remix), and the brand new ‘Slowly Burning’ from Cristoph feat. Jem Cooke, while tracks like Mood II Swing’s remix of BT ‘Remember’ – originally released back in 1997 – and Precious ‘Definition Of A Track’ fly the flag for pure house music heritage.

For more than a decade, Defected has been a byword for contemporary and classic house music in Ibiza. The label’s annual mix albums are always on-point and epitomise its commitment to championing the very finest house music in everything they do, and this latest edition is once again no exception.
