For The Love of House Vol.7 is the next instalment in a series of compilations curated by Defected’s Simon Dumore and Classic’s Luke Solomon.
This new album brings us music from house heavyweights like DJ Sneak, Todd Terry and Masters at Work as well as remixes from MK and Carl Craig. For The Love of House is all about classic, soulful and genre defining house, with tracks from influential artists and iconic labels alike the For The Love of House series has collected some of the biggest house tracks from across the past three decades.
Along with two exclusive DJ mixes, For The Love of House Vol.7 brings us bonafide house classics in the shape of Carl Craig’s remix of Inner City’s ‘Good Life (Buena Vida)’ with its unmistakable vocal and club beat, ‘Jumpin” by Todd Terry and ‘Can You Feel It (MK Dub)’ by Chez Damier, a cut that is still regularly dropped on dancefloors twenty years on from its release.
