Comprising Marco Del Horno (Bullet Train Records & Go Management boss) and Swerve (Kiss FM), for the last five years Riddim Commission has been making serious waves with their trailblazing hybrid of house and grime, as they gear up to their debut album release "We Aint Gonna Stop", which drops October 7th.
From their debut single on Black Butter, Ho! Riddim feat. P Money, to their newest release Dem Tings Dere feat. D Double E, Riddim Commission are known for working with some of the best MCs and vocalists in the game; Eve, Mr. Hudson & Newham Generals, Stush, Cas, J2K, Merky Ace & L Marshall. Keen to expand their sound, Riddim Commission have also collaborated with the likes of Roger Sanchez, Crookers, ApexApe feat. MC Neat, R3LL, Taiki Nulight, Sinden and Tough Love. The duo have also been called upon to stamp their unique sound on remixes for the likes of Desiigner (Panda), Yogi ft. Pusha T (Burial), Elliphant, Drake, Example, Paul Woolford and Iggy Azalea.
As Swerve explains: “Between myself and Marco, we’ve been at this for over twenty years and the Riddim Commission sound has developed very organically from our shared love of Grime, combined with his House and Garage background, and my career across RnB and Hip Hop.”
Out Aug 26th, with a stellar remix package courtesy of Nightwave, Spooky and Petey Clicks, Dem Tings Dere was featured on Flava D’s FabricLive compilation and is receiving widespread radio support from leading tastemakers Annie Mac, Mistajam, Target, Toddla T and Sian Anderson, setting the duo up nicely for their hotly-anticipated album release in October. Featuring Rye Rye, R3LL (Dim Mak), Scrufizzer, Leon Lour (FFRR), Selena Johnson (Kanye West's "All Falls Down"), Takura (Chase & Status/Plan B) and many more artists still to be announced, it sounds like We Aint Gonna Stop will not disappoint.
