Demonz XO reveal hypnotic debut single ‘Haunted’

There’s a new duo on the scene: Demonz XO are making a bold entrance with the hypnotic debut single ‘Haunted’. Floating into the space between electronic pop and EDM, the Bristol-based pair fuse together dark synths, contagious beats and ethereal vocals into a genre-bending sound. Characterised by their explosive raver style, Demonz XO brings an infectious energy which is bound to move your heart and your feet.

New release ‘Haunted’ reminisces about a past relationship, recounting a toxic love that continues to haunt you. Emma & Callum wrote the song during lockdown in 2020, producing it from their make-shift home studio. Speaking of their new single, the pair reveals: “It’s about a relationship where at the time you are in denial about the damage this person’s behaviour has on your life and mental state. You make yourself believe it’s a beautiful, complicated love, but really it’s just toxic.”

With its bouncing bassline and emotive lyrics, ‘Haunted’ marks a powerful arrival from this promising duo. The first track from their upcoming mixtape, this is a single which is sure to leave listeners eager for more.
