Der Effekt featuring Mehrklang – Reloaded

Der Effekt is a project consisting of Marcel Fenkart and Marco Glabonjat, from the Rhine Valley in Austria, who have been working together since the year 2000 and have released their music on numerous labels, now to kick 2015 off in style, they arrive at Circle Music. It is not easy to categorize Der Effekt accurately, as their tracks often span the creative space between deep house and techno, but Marcel & Marco prefer to describe their style as “experimental electronic club music with a groovy drive”.

The duo have enlisted the skills of their good buddy Mehrklang for “Reloaded” and together they have conjured up a delicious bass heavy tech-house track with no frills, but with a high recognition value – and yes, you may have heard this track in many clubs across Austria, Germany and Switzerland, as Der Ekkekt have been testing out both the vocal and instrumental versions and getting great reactions already! So, Der Effekt decided to push the experiment further again with “Synchroniced”, keeping the emphasis on percussive drive to great effect.

Anyone who has played with acts such as Chris Liebing, Monika Kruse, Karotte or Dominik Eulberg is definitely no longer a newbie, Der Effekt are well known across their region and with “Reloaded” they now start another campaign heading towards more international clubs and parties.
