DeusExMaschine Returns to Serial Records with ‘Good Thing’

DeusExMaschine is back and better than ever, once again on established French imprint Serial Records, this time with a deep and dreamy vocal house track! 

 

With a solid run of singles under his belt already in 2023, French DJ/producer DeusExMaschine keeps his foot on the gas with yet another euphoria inducing floorfiller in ‘Good Thing’. Keeping true to his origins in France, DeusExMaschine adds a signature French Touch feel to a deep, groovy bassline and angel-like, melodic topline, resulting in a sure-fire anthem to get the party started wherever it is played! DeusExMaschine’s versatility has been on full show with some of his releases this year, disco influenced tracks in ‘Better’ and tech house flavours in ‘Be With You’ litter his discography. The French selector continues to master his craft and impress with every release and ‘Good Thing’ is no exception to the rule! 

 

On his creative process for this release, DeusExMaschine had this to say: “I have always been a fan of nu disco; it is in my roots. I wanted to create a deep house track with very strong summer vibes, but one that would pay tribute to those sounds nu disco sounds that mean so much. It’s like Purple Disco Machine with a mellow beach side feeling.” 

 

DeusExMaschine is a French DJ and producer who has enjoyed a steady and passionate relationship with music since his early twenties. Born in Lyon in 1975 to a musical family who enjoyed early electronic music, DeusExMaschine began soaking in all he could of electronic music and the scene that housed it in his local area and France. From his early work in the style of Daft Punk and Cassius as part of the French Touch movement, DeusExMaschine has always tried to remain faithful to his roots and incorporate the French Touch into everything he does music-wise, lending influence from alternative genres simultaneously. After a short break from music, the ‘Good Thing’ producer returned under the stage name DeusExMaschine and has been consistently releasing since. His big break came in 2022 with the release of his hit ‘Only You’ which became immediately prevalent on the French club circuit and amassed 1 million streams on Spotify alone. DeusExMaschine aims to continue this success with ‘Good Thing’, pushing his distinguished and unique sound to the world!
