Two heavyweight producers in Luca Donzelli and Mar-T come together for a thrilling new three tracker on the always club-ready Play It Say It label.
In one corner is Italian Luca Donzelli, who for a decade has put out his high impact tech on the likes of 8Bit and This And That. Here he links with Mar-T once again, a frequent collaborator and long-time Amnesia resident who plays to supersized crowds and lands on similarly big labels. They pull no punches here across three very different but equally big house weapons.
Standout opener ‘Devo To Acid’ is a razor sharp track with busy metal snares flapping away over turbo charged bass. Wild acid brings the energy and a classic vocal sample ensures maximum destruction in the club.
Then comes the brilliant ‘Dancing Desire’, which flips the script and pairs things back to quick and kinetic drum programming, with wonky synths and freaky vocals making this an inventive and mischievous track.
Completing the package is the deeper ‘Parade’, a timeless house cut with a fantastic organ bassline bringing the old school vibes. Subtle female vocal coos add warmth and soul and it’s easy to see this one making big moves.
These tracks arrive just in time for the Ibiza season and are sure to get plenty of floors super sweaty as the sunshine arrives.
