Serving as the follow-up to his 2022 hit ‘Wormhole’, Dillon Marinez has returned with a tantalizing original that is sure to make the rounds on dancefloors across the globe. Driven by bright, textured melodies, ‘Ecstatic’ kicks into high gear as Marinez slowly builds around his vibrant synth lead with snappy percussion and sharp kicks. From growing up in a household filled with funk, reggae and reggaeton, to living in South America, Dillon Marinez’s sound has been shaped by both his culture and his experiences. As a bassist, it was only natural for Dillon to be drawn to the ebbs and flows of house music. His sound incorporates a blend of rhythmic elements, along with unique bass lines and catchy beats, leading to releases on labels like Dirtybird, Relief, and Basement Leak. ‘Ecstatic’ marks Marinez’s sixth release on the Dirtybird.
