DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE WIN THREE EMPO AWARDS

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike continue to dominate dance music across the globe and their recent wins at Mexico’s EMPO Awards are further proof of the Belgian duo’s impressive international reach. The brothers picked up three awards including ‘Best Global DJ’ for a second year in a row, as well as ‘Best Big Room DJ’ and ‘Best Music Video’ their unmissable collaboration with Ummet Ozcan ‘The Hum’, which reached #1 in the singles chart in Belgium and earned the guys a Platinum record in their home country.

Currently the #1 DJs in the world according to the official Top 100 Poll, these wins reflect the astounding success Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike continue to have globally. After the success of their crossover hit with Ne-Yo ‘Higher Places’, which spent a massive ten weeks at #1 in the Belgian singles chart and went #1 in the Billboard Dance Club Chart, the duo recently joined forces with previous collaborators Steve Aoki and Ummet Ozcan to produce the official Belgian Red Devils Euro 2016 football anthem ‘Melody’ – a track which almost instantly made its way to the Beatport #1 spot.

After picking up three EMPO Awards, it is clear the boys are in a rich vein of form and set to eclipse the successes of previous years, ensuring they remain at the top of the dance music pyramid for many years to come.
