One of the most hyped new acts in electronic music, having already amassed over 4 million plays on Soundcloud and multiple number ones on Hype Machine in just a matter of months, as well as a hugely successful remix of Lorde’s ‘Team’ that is still making waves online, Louis, Jake and Mikul – better known as Autograf – are back with an official remix of Dirty South’s latest single ‘Unbreakable’.
Known for their inventive and original style, true to form ‘Unbreakable’ cannot be confined to one single genre. Featuring an incredible blend of intricate and blissful production, their flawless rework incorporates Sam Martin’s energizing vocals, laced with plucky bass kicks and interwoven with tranquil undertones of a marimba, giving the track an upbeat, yet dreamy, ambiance.
Bonding over similar pasts and lifestyles, the production trio met whilst building large installations for shows and underground parties around Chicago. “We all have backgrounds in the arts and got involved with the music scene through art, so we want to incorporate as much of a visual side to music as possible”, explains Jake. To add to this vision, they will now be launching ‘Future Nites’, a series of remixes and originals with an eye for creating music for live performances, of which ‘Unbreakable’ will be the first featured track.
There truly is no telling how far Autograf will go, but one thing is for certain, their refreshing take on electronic music continues to captivate audiences around the world, and this remix of ‘Unbreakable’ is no exception. Be sure to keep up with their socials to stay up to date on all things Autograf!
