Dirtyphonics – No Stopping Us (Remixes)

French electronic quartet DIRTYPHONICS have today released the No Stopping Us (Remixes) EP on Dim Mak Records featuring remixed renditions of the original track from Dim Mak founder himself Steve Aoki, Smooth, ETC!ETC!, and Marion Corrales.

One of the highlight tracks on their debut album Irreverence, also available now via Dim Mak, “No Stopping Us” is a hard-hitting banger featuring rapid-fire vocals from critically acclaimed U.K. rap/grime/dubstep group Foreign Beggars. DIRTYPHONICS bring the noise on “No Stopping Us,” mashing their trademark electro/bass style with sophisticated piano chords for a unique sound that’s equal parts dark, dance, and ever so dirty.

DIRTYPHONICS has partnered with international online EDM magazine Data Transmission to officially premiere the Steve Aoki remix. Additionally, Drum&Bass Arena, the leading global music brand for drum ‘n’ bass/jungle music, has premiered the remix from Smooth. Watch exclusive behind-the-scenes video interviews with ETC!ETC! and Smooth as they describe the studio process behind their remixes of “No Stopping Us.”

The No Stopping Us (Remixes) EP further expands the original track into new and exciting territory with remakes from established and fresh talent alike. International EDM star and Dim Mak leader Steve Aoki takes complete control of the original and adds his signature electro-house sound, ultimately making the song his own. Producer/DJ Smooth drops dancehall-tinged drum ‘n’ bass on the track, while ETC!ETC! adds a taste of bass bounce. Singer-songwriter Marion Corrales transforms “No Stopping Us” from an all-out rager to a bare-bones piano ballad for what’s undoubtedly the most original DIRTYPHONICS remake to date. The No Stopping Us (Remixes) EP also features the original version of the track and a special club mix made specifically for the dance floor.
