The winners will be revealed at the gala ceremony in Heart Ibiza Tuesday, 11th September
Each year the DJ Awards are blown away by the massive support that fans show for the nominees. This year the number has surpassed any expectations for the 21stedition.
Even with 17 music categories to vote in, the fans kept the momentum with the votes flooding in. New initiatives included adding "Master" and "Artist" to honour the established names within 4 of the key music genres, whilst enabling a new layer of DJ´s to enter into the categories.
But in the end, no matter how many nominees we have, our aim is to honour and celebrate them all!
Good luck to all the 161 nominees…..a record number in the history of the "Oscars" of electronic music.
Once the voting is closed, the deliberation of the panel of industry expert begins and will decide the recipients for the special awards: DANCE NATION, ELECTRONIC MUSIC PIONEER, IBIZA DJ, INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL in collaboration with FAZE MAG, IBIZA MUSIC EVENT, IBIZA NIGHT, OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT, PRODUCER powered by FOCAL, RECORD LABEL OF THE YEAR and TRACK OF THE SEASON.
All winners will be revealed at the ceremony held for the first time at HEART IBIZA on Tuesday 11 September.
