DJ Bone, Surgeon, Radio Slave, DVS1 and more headline Dockyard Festival 2019 ADE

Dockyard is one of the Netherland’s most respected festivals, and this year they are expanding the Dockyard concept in the run up to the 2019 event in October. It will see them give a platform to the next generation of young talent and then welcome them to set on their own stage at the Dockyard event during this year’s ADE.

Dockyard is known for showcasing the world’s best house and techno acts since 2014. It is an integral part of the annual ADE and a real meeting place for young talent, prominent artists and established labels. Each event is a theatre for the creative arts with next level music, visuals and light shows. Much of the crowd is made up of people who have been at Dockyard since day one when it was just a 4.500 person event, but today it will welcome 20.000 people at it’s ADE event as well as superstars from the scene.

The line up this year the line up consists of the following Dubfire, Eats Everything, Nic Fanciulli, Nastia, Mind Against, Len Faki, Recondite, Benny Rodrigues, Paco Osuna, Matador, Dvs1, Patrice Bäumel, Dax J, Ellen Allien, Monika Kruse, Ben Sims, Secret Cinema, Dense & Pika, Oscar Mulero, Joey Daniel, DJ Bone, Surgeon, Radio Slave, Sandrien, Pig & Dan, Olivier Weiter, Joran Van Pol, Lady Starlight, Marcus Worgull, Roberto Capuano, SQL, Roman Poncet, Jeroen Search, Fer Br, Alienata, Matrixxmann, Mitch De Klein, Vntm, Cailín, The Reason Y, Sama .

Now more of the following talent platform _unpaved_

This important platform will now be given over to some of the most exciting new names in underground electronic music. It will start with a series of special live streams in May and end with an number of these artists playing at Dockyard itself.

“We feel that it is important to give young talents and hopefuls a ‘push,’ as we all understand how difficult it is for newcomers without substantial financial backing or contacts to get a foothold in this business. It’s also very important for the industry to be open to fresh, new talent and not just to stay focused on the established names that we already so often see at events.”

This year the festival will have its usual offering of huge names for the underground and promises its biggest line-up yet, with six vast stages in tents as well as the all important new talents stage, “_unpaved_”.

This is a great development in the history of one of the Netherlands’ most vital festivals and is a great way to ensure the next generation get the opportunities they need to help the scene continue to thrive.
