DkA’s latest musical offering ‘Anneessens’ will be brought to you by Brüxsel Jardin Records, a fresh label established off the back of a very successful events company in Brussels. Brüxsel Jardin Records have already gained an impressive reputation with their first release ‘Last Night’ from Nathan Øye & Cœur. They’re already proving that they are a label with no intention of offering anything but top quality dance floor material.
It’s easy to hear in this EP that DkA has spent time working in different clubs and party environments and has perfectly honed his production skills as a result. The title track, ‘Anneessens’ really showcases DkA’s production skills, and is characterised by minimal and techno influences that run throughout the track. ‘Lost Track of Time’ is another minimal sounding number that is flooded with atmosphere. It gently glides along, pads rising and sinking that allow a rolling bass make it’s mark.
Finishing this charismatic EP is the track ‘Fireworks’, which strays away from the techno side and much further into DkA’s familiar territory of deeper sounds. A huge rolling bass lick, accompanied with cheeky and well placed brass hits.
