Subb-An - Do It EP

To celebrate 10 Years of Wow! Recordings, Mar-T’s celebrated label announce a very special limited edition vinyl only release, from rising British DJ/Producer Subb-an – ‘Do It’ EP is out September 26. 

Following a number of stellar releases on heavyweight imprints such a ​s ​ ​​ Sven Väth’s Cocoon Recordings ​, Nic Fanciulli ​'s Saved Records ​and  Coyu’s Suara, Subb-an now makes his debut on Wow! Recordings.

‘Do It’, the EP’s title-track kicks off proceedings, showcasing the deep underlying groove of the release, as a dark bassline is accompanied by various Tech-House pad effects and vocal snippets.

‘Untitled (Terrace Mix)’ sees Subb-an deliver a lighter, more House-focused sound, with shimmering percussive elements blended with the sun-kissed chords and crunchy drums.

On the B-side is Wow! Recordings favourite, Hector, who reworks ‘Do It’, omitting the original’s pounding rhythm and replacing it with chopped up vocals and other abstract tones.

“After hearing these tracks for the first time, we were certain that vinyl was the right format to release this EP,” says Wow! “Quality vibes delivered from all 3 tracks. What better way to celebrate our 10 years!”
