Bassline driven tech house meets deep progressive with a retro flair.
It’s been roughly 8 months since Doc Brown’s last free track release, and a lot has happened since then. A contest-winning remix for Da Fresh & Maverickz released on Natura Viva was promptly followed by releases on Phunk Investigations’ Miniaturesrec, Andrea Bertolini’s Btwisted & Paul Thomas’ Ultraviolet. His release on Baroque, ‘The Ghosts Of Our Future,’ peaked at #14 on the Beatport progressive house charts, with the subsequent release of the Traktor remix set netted a top-5 position on the progressive house charts, reaching as high as #42 overall. With a slew of upcoming releases on notable labels–including on Sonny Wharton’s Whartone and Andrea Roma’s Human Garden–Doc’s unsigned demos are also in demand: ‘Blackout Curtain’ earned the #6 position on the DMC World ‘ADE Unsigned Buzz’ Chart earlier this week.
