Following his release with production partner KoZY earlier in 2017, DaGeneral has returned to Static Music with his new EP, 'Done To You'. The EP features two tracks; each a complimenting partner to the other.
The title track sits a repetitive vocal phrase on top of a hard and rolling beat, evolving with layers of synth melodies and bass lines. 'Chilled Life' is – as the name states – a more relaxed affair. A male voice sings lyrics over a chilled and summery arrangement, showing a side of production that contrasts the harder techno release previously offered by DaGeneral to Static Music. A solid release, 'Done To You' shows DaGeneral’s versatility as a producer, and is a fine addition to his repertoire.
