Hailing from the midwest and currently calling Austin, TX home, Donovan Keith is best known for his classic soul vocals and infectious showmanship that has won over audiences time and time again. Donovan’s uniquely vintage style combining soul, funk, and rock blends well with a variety of musical genres and his universal appeal has seen him open for acts such as Enrique Iglesias, Tower Of Power, the late Charles Bradley, Fastball, Snarky Puppy, and Erykah Badu. Back with enchanting new release ‘Let Me Loose’, the track is taken from Donovan’s new album.
Speaking about the vivid new release, Donovan shares, “Let Me Loose is an Al Green inspired tune that expresses the difficulty of still being attracted to someone you know isn’t good for you. Sometimes those endings can be rocky or you’re on and off because you can’t stop overwhelming attraction despite knowing it can’t or won’t last.”
A soulful experience best served at the front of Donovan’s life show… this is an artist with pure charisma.
