EJ - Don’t Take It Away
Last week, we saw EJ kick-start our summer with an epic remix of The Theme, the iconic Trance track originally forged by Jurgen Vries. This was alongside remixes from MaRLo, Futuristic Polar Bears and Radion6. Now, EJ continues to satisfy our needs with a new single on Amsterdam-based record label Armada Music, co-founded by none other than Armin Van Buuren. The label has previously boasted releases from the gamut of dance music luminaries and now, EJ is stepping up again.
Having had a string of successful singles already – including Never Say No, supported by R3hab and Sam Feldt, and Ignition, supported by Oliver Heldens and Thomas Gold – EJ is racing ahead with his new effort, Don’t Take It Away.
EJ has already proved himself as a stand-alone DJ that just happens to DJ for 200 million people at the Formula E races – the world’s first electronic car series. No biggie, right? Using this vital experience, we see Don’t Take It Away as the track that immerses EJ whole-heartedly in the world of Progressive House. This pulsing single creates tension in a way that only EJ knows how, combined with distant vocals that make us want to immediately fly to Ibiza with this sun-chasing DJ.
We look forward to following EJ again through his envious summer, with singles to come that can only soundtrack his fast-paced life. Wherever EJ is going, let’s take a minute to pray that he doesn’t take his music away.
