Patrick Baker - Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right

‘Don’t Think Twice, ‘It’s All right’, arguably one of Bob Dylan’s most popular songs of all time, has once again popped up on the radar. This time, none other than American producer and vocalist Patrick Baker unleashed his cover of the 1963 classic, released on Armada Music sub label Armada Chill today.

Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Patrick Baker has been involved with Armada Music for some time now. He has worked with Armada artist Rodg on several different singles (including ‘Fire’ and ‘Nothing To Prove’), released his single ‘Call Me Up’ on Armada Chill earlier this year and recently ventured into a long-term partnership with the Amsterdam-based record label. His cover of ‘Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right’ can only pave the way for even more top-notch singles.

Written and recorded in 1962, ‘Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right’ was released in 1963, both as a single and as part of the ‘The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan’ album. Born Robert Allen Zimmerman, Bob Dylan has been an influential figure in music culture for over fifty years and saw some of his early songs (e.g. ‘Blowin’ In The Wind’, ‘The Times They Are a-Changing’) become a great inspiration for the American civil rights and anti-war movements. This month, Bob Dylan was awarded with a Nobel Prize in Literature for his songwriting.
