Nathan Barato - Don’t Watch Dat

Toronto’s Nathan Barato returns to his and Carlo Lio’s Rawthentic imprint with three dynamic house cuts entitled ‘Don’t Watch Dat’ featuring Chicago legend Gene Farris & NB76 and a remix from Sola’s Francisco Allendes.

Nathan Barato’s engaging musical approach has been recognised throughout the industry with releases on a range of labels across the house music spectrum including Hottrax, Hot Creations, Relief and Kling Kong. Rawthentic maintain their gritty, cutting edge style through ‘Don’t Watch Dat’ which follows releases from Demuir, Vibe Killers, AJ Christou & Caleb Calloway and more.

Title track ‘Don’t Watch Dat’ opens things up with robust drums balanced with peppy synth stabs and choppy chanting. ‘My House’ then offers spirited atmospheres, funk infused melodies, looping pulsations and Gene Farris’ slick vocals before Viva Music’s Francisco Allendes’ remix delivers a raw percussive groove with fluid wooden snares and smooth rolling basslines to finish things off.

Nathan Barato ‘Don’t Watch Dat’ drops on Rawthentic on 16th November 2018.
