DR MEAKER – Freaks

Frenetic, razor-sharp breakbeats and Sharlene Hector’s massive vocal cords power Freaks – Dr Meaker’s new hook-laden, ultra-uplifting anthem – which is out this Spring on Circus records. 

Simultaneously straddling real-deal drum ‘n’ bass and a chart-friendly pop smash in the making, ‘Freaks’ has already garnered multiple 1Xtra and Radio 1 plays way ahead of release, including Mistajam’s ‘Jam Hot’ at Radio 1Xtra.

The Bristolian octet’s last single ‘Right Back’ caused widespread media excitement, with masses of support at BBC radio, including the Radio 1 ‘In New Music We Trust’ play list and BBC 1Xtra’s ‘A’ playlist.
