Patrick Topping - Dr. Vibes EP

Showcasing his talent through a brand-new EP, UK producer Patrick Topping delivers two fresh tracks labelled ‘Let’s Go’ and ‘Dr Vibes’ on Chicago techno label Relief records.

A pioneering force and regular performer at Jamie Jones’ Paradise residency in Ibiza, Patrick Topping has garnered a reputation for dynamic mixes and highly polished production skills, with the Dr Vibes EP acting as a physical embodiment for his love of brooding build-ups and rattling percussive breakdowns.

‘Dr Vibes’ itself is a bassline-heavy production laced with interjecting vocals and a strong underpinned rhythmic beat. The track offers a stark contrast to ‘Let’s Go’ and displays Topping’s incredible diversity, with the latter offering a more high-tempo and energetic breakdown.

Having founded his own club night ‘Motion’ at respected venue Digital in his home city of Newcastle, Patrick played alongside many of the biggest names in the industry including Solomun, Tale Of Us & Sven Vath. He has since enjoyed a meteoric rise, being voted 11th in Resident Advisor’s Top100 DJ's of 2016.

Famed for his popular productions, including Beatport tech house chart #1 tracks ‘Get Beasty’, ‘Forget’ and Green Velvet collaborations ‘Voicemail’ and ‘When Is Now’, Patrick’s first DJ mix album, Paradise On Earth vol 1, received Mixmag’s Compilation of The Month, and also reached number 1 in Beatport’s House chart.

Alongside his many releases with the groundbreaking independent dance label Hot Creations, Patrick has been tirelessly touring the world and remains an Ibiza regular with further key gigs at Elrow, and Cocoon at Amnesia.

Patrick’s far-reaching appeal has also seen him complete 4 Australian tours and as well as countless shows in South America and Europe, including appearances at major international festivals such as Glastonbury, Hideout, and Tomorrowland in both Brazil & Belgium. In addition, he has made a name for himself in the US where he’s completed numerous headline club tours and played at the likes of Coachella Festival, Ultra Music Festival, CRSSD & Movement Detroit.

With his productions being championed heavily by Pete Tong and Annie Mac on their legendary BBC radio 1 shows, Patrick has twice performed live on Radio 1. With the world at his feet, the Dr Vibes EP showcases Patrick’s incredible production skills and is set for release on 1st September.
