Shadow Child’s Food Music returns late March with Dennis Quin’s ‘Drive’, comprising three originals from the Dutch producer and DJ.
Hotly tipped Dutch act Dennis Quin joins the Food Music roster following an impressive run of releases over the past year on the likes of Madhouse, Snatch! and Simma Black.
The title-track ‘Drive’ lead on the package with a raw, distorted drum groove, heady rave stab sequences and hooky vocals before ‘Meaning’ employs frenzied resonant synth hooks, chopped and looped vocal lines alongside dusty, swinging 909 drums and pulsing subs.
‘Paiduchko’ then closes the package on a deeper tip with airy synth chords, shuffled, broked rhythms and tension building pads at its core.
Dennis Quin’s ‘Drive’ is out on Food Music 30th March 2018.
