Russian duo Dropgun teams up with newcomers RØGUENETHVN for a new release “Same Things,” making their debut on R3HAB’s CYB3RPVNK imprint. Featuring a stunning performance by singer/songwriter Pillows, the track pairs breathy vocals and nostalgic lyrics with Dropgun’s timeless EDM sound, which the duo builds on with plenty of instrumental bass, groovy melodies, and funky, unique synths. “Same Things” evokes golden memories of the “good old days,” or that time in everyone’s life that they will forever look back upon fondly. It packs both radio and festival-friendly power, hitting right in the feels no matter what the setting. This is the young duo RØGUENETHVN’s first release on the label as well, and pairing with established artists like Dropgun bodes well for their future career. Keep an eye out for new music from both of these artists coming soon on CYB3RPVNK!
In 2018, R3HAB founded his label CYB3RPVNK, a place that embraces the alternative, pushes artistic boundaries, and serves as a platform to build up new artists. The imprint is current home to R3HAB himself and a strong roster of artists now including Dropgun, who are best known for their hit collaborations “Rhythm is a Dancer” and “Sweet Dreams” with Breathe Carolina. The Russian natives have also released on Dharma, Hexagon, SKINK, Spinnin’ Records, Armada Music, Musical Freedom and more. With their timelessly groovy sound and support from Martin Garrix, Hardwell, David Guetta, Tiesto, The Chainsmokers, Avicii, Headhunterz, DVBBS, Showtek, Bassjackers and now R3HAB, Dropgun aren’t going anywhere but up.
