Bonanza Records is pleased to present the latest release from Italy’s Danna, the double a-side single “Dumb” and “It’s My Opinion”. An up-and-coming DJ, Danna has played many prominent Italian clubs alongside the likes of Todd Terry, Hector Romero, and Sam Divine.
In 2016 Danna debuted as a producer, releasing “Luna Llena” to much acclaim and support from heavy hitters like Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, and even Giorgio Moroder. Danna now follows up with a slamming new single that’s ready to energize late night club excursions.
“Dumb” opens with a tough tech-house rhythm as beefy bass stabs filter up into the mix. Percussive effects and a big sense of space expand the vibe, and a groovy breakdown section introduces a cool syncopated synth motif.
“It’s My Opinion” is on a housier tip with its bouncy low end, squelchy pads, buzzy synth riffs, and a fun spoken vocal section. This is the sound of the after hours, and Danna is keen to deliver.
