Dutch artist MANIBA & UK talent Alfie Cridland team up on new single ‘Into The Night’

Dutch artist, MANIBA – previously part of the formidable LVNDSCAPE collective – has teamed up with UK talent, Alfie Cridland on new single ‘Into The Night’. Landing on Cridland’s regular label home, Perfect Havoc, ‘Into The Night’ already sounds like a classic taken straight from the dancefloor of the 1990s Great British Rave era.

DJ and producer Nick Baas – professionally known as MANIBA – has been spreading his love for house music since the age of 15, mixing his own style of uplifting yet energy-driven beats, around the world. As touring DJ for LVNDSCAPE, Baas has bowled over crowds in such renowned clubs and festivals as Tomorrowland, Dreamfields, NRJ Air, Ministry Of Sound, Electrobeach and many more.

Since stepping out on his own, MANIBA collaborated with international Swiss artist, Gil Glaze on Spinnin’ Records with ‘I Want You’. It made some major impact with DJ support from Oliver Heldens, Nicky Romero, R3hab, EDX, and more, and provided for a strong platform for subsequent releases, on labels like Solotoko, FRCST and Municipal Recordings.

Teaming up with MANIBA for their debut collaboration is breaking artist, Alfie Cridland. Cridland was first recognised by bass artist, Nathan Dawe, for his clever mashups and skillset in cross-genre mixing, which led to Cridland taking first place in Dawe’s new generation DJ competition to join him on tour.

Aside from Cridland’s UK’s club residencies where can be regularly found mashing up all things electronic, R’n’B and hip-hop, Cridland’s foray into production has been turning heads in the best possible way. His debut single on Perfect Havoc, ‘Last Day In Paradise’ with Paul Kaye, hit No. 2 in the iTunes Dance Chart. While ‘New Levels’, released with Tobtok and Milwin, soared to ever greater heights, clocking over 20 million streams, airing almost 50 times on BBC Radio 1 with a Tune Of The Week accolade, and syncing to numerous prime time TV shows.

Cridland has been crushing 2024 so far with the release of the up-tempo ‘Fall Again’ in collaboration with T. Matthias. It’s been popping off on Tiktok·with over 3,000 videos appearing embedding the track, heavy rotation on KISS FM including support from DJ SKT, and Cridland’s name is back on the airwaves at Radio 1 with support on Party Anthems.

With a fast driven organ baseline, ravey stab synths and catchy euphoric vocal, ‘Into The Night’ is another on-point release for the crossover, London-based imprint, Perfect Havoc.

For 2024, Perfect Havoc also has tracks lined up from ManyFew, Stephani B, Ros T, Movada and more, each bringing a bigger sound and energy than before. Now in its 9th year, Perfect Havoc continues to push the envelope of crossover house music and to build on over 10 billion global streams, six UK Top 20 singles and multiple platinum, gold, and silver awards.
