East London rapper Yems01 drops synthy and energetic new album ‘Moving Madder’

East London spitter, songwriter and all-round creative, Yems01 continues to push boundaries by mixing West Coast flavours with a fresh East London perspective, on forthcoming project “MOVING MADDER.”

Despite Yems’ constant endeavour to create new and interesting work, the term ‘moving mad’ has stuck with him throughout his journey. So much so that he has been working on a follow up EP to his debut named “MOVING MADDER”.

Speaking on the project and the meaning behind the term “moving mad”, Yems states:I realised pretty fast growing up that I thought differently to most of the people around me. Things that were alien to others felt normal to me, and vice versa. As a kid you always want to be like the other kids, do what the other kids are doing, you know? So as a yute it really took a toll on me, but as I grew up, I realised it was my strength, my superpower. To be able to see situations clearer than others, to have the innate urge to always be different in how I approach life as a whole. That’s why I move mad, cos I don’t want to be normal, I want to be the madman living amongst the ‘sane’.”
