Eastern Electrics NYE 2014

Bringing their unique blend of electronic magic to London’s party people, the UK’s premier underground promoters Eastern Electrics takeover new clubbers’ paradise Studio 388 for a marathon end-of-year celebration. Sound tracked by a select pack of heavyweights from across the house and techno spectrums, Agoria, Cassy, Geddes, Matthias Tanzmann and Route 94 will all be gracing the decks of the main Eastern Electrics terrace.

With a consistently modern approach to electronic music, the Eastern Electrics crew proudly presents an NYEE special that combines new talent with established icons of the scene, bringing together forward-thinking sounds and world-class technical skill for this epic annual event. One of France’s finest exports, Agoria takes part in this NYE special, taking the floor on a journey through his immaculate, musical take on techno. Plus Cassy, the rightly adored resident of some of the best clubs in the world (including Panorama Bar and Trouw) who will no doubt have the crowd like putty in her hands with her flawless selections and vinyl devotion.

Lighting up the bill is London scene mainstay and nofitstate chief Geddes, set to deliver one of his revered sets spanning true deep house and the tougher edge of techno. Moon Harbour boss Matthias Tanzmann also steps up, a true pioneer of the German tech-house scene who never fails to incite party fever with his raw unbridled energy behind the decks. He will be joined by breakthrough act Route 94, Rinse FM’s Ones to watch of 2014 and an artist who has managed to both seduce the underground and bag a UK number one single all in the same year. His intelligent productions are crafted from early house and dubstep influences for a thoroughly modern hybrid sound of his own. With a line-up this heavy the terrace roof is bound to be blown off. Room two promises to include some of Eastern Electrics closest family and friends, soon to be announced.

London’s choice new venue Studio 338 and the success story of the summer will be transformed into an electrified, nocturnal playground fit to house all the usual Eastern Electrics antics and madness. A hedonistic oasis nestled away from the beaten track and boasting one of the largest covered terrace spaces in Europe, Studio 338 really is the ideal space for this very special party. In true EE style, expect a discerning crowd of rave lovers, highly visual and original production elements, and of course, a handpicked, stellar line-up for an exceptionally memorable sonic trip to take everybody into 2015 with a bang.
