Eche Palante – A Discussion Between Saxes

Eche Palante’s creative mind has been let loose again, resulting into yet another of his consistent top-notch singles. ‘A Discussion Between Saxes’ has hit the shelves on the 8th of March, 2015 and is surely seeking to lift Eche Palante’s flight to the top, taking it to the next level. Coming from a musical background, playing drums and piano, Dylan Echevarria, the man behind the Eche Palante moniker, is a perpetuator of old-school House, which he modernises with blends  of Big Noise sounds.

His distinctive production style and refined DJing skills have seen the Miami based talent perform at top clubs, such as: Coliseum and Eve, whilst many of his works rocked multiple venues, namely: Hakkasan and XS amongst many others. His euphoric original material has also turned heads within the international music industry, gaining support from numerous blogs, labels and A-list DJs like: Tiesto, Oliver Heldens, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and EDX to name a few.

Hitting with a solid drum groove, ‘A Discussion Between Saxes’ quickly resorts to a traditional House beat to get it going. The long chord, phasing string-synth loop acts as a background to the mesmerising lead synth melody that halts into a breakdown. Saxophones take over, with reverb-filled infectious harmonies, accompanied by punchy rhythms and an off-beat, funky piano arrangement. The back-and-forth nature of the sax phrasing displays the idea of a conversation, or better a discussion between Saxes. This track exhibits all of Eche Palante’s melody writing skills, sophisticated arrangement ability, innate groove understanding and the musical maturity of a veteran. The traditional House elements add up perfectly to contemporary progressions, showing his deep knowledge of old-school fundamentals and modern, innovative ideas.

Eche Palante’s latest single ‘A Discussion Between Saxes’ has been selected from a multitude of entries in the Spinnin’ Records Talent Pool. Being a sub-label of the Dutch giant imprint, ‘Talent Pool’ is the hunting ground for Spinnin’ Records to scout and recruit the best up-and-coming talents around, whilst providing a launching platform for young DJs and producers to flourish in this business.

Home to numerous world renowned labels such as: Doorn Records, Musical Freedom, Skink, Wall Recordings, Rock The Houze, Smash The House, Streamlined, and Night Vision amongst many others, Spinnin’ Records has established itself as the globe’s biggest electronic music label. With Afrojack, Blasterjaxx, Borgeous, Calvin Harris, Chocolate Puma, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Don Diablo, Dub Vision, DVBBS, Martin Garrix, Martin Solveig, Nervo, Moby and R3hab all featuring on their roster together with numerous other A-list names, they surely know how to pick their talent. Eche Palante is their latest discovery, and his newest project is providing proof that their thriving scouting and A&R team have managed to deliver again.
