Nurii - Echo

Kenya based DJ and producer Nurii ended the year in style, tasked with the job of remixing House legend Robbie Rivera’s track ‘Move Your Ass’, which was subsequently release on Robbie’s label Juicy Music – an achievement many dream of. 2015 has also seen Nurii release hits including: ‘Blue Lagoon’, ‘Reasons’, ‘India’, ‘Right Back’, ‘Passion’ and ‘Freedom’, reaching Beatport’s charts on multiple occasions.

As well as doing his fair share of official single and remix releases, Nurii is no stranger to giving something back to his fans in the form of free downloads including remarkable efforts like: ‘Summer’, ‘Twist’, ‘Drop That Bass’, ‘Transform’, ‘Explode’, ‘Alive’, ‘Lean On Remix’, ‘Hurricane’, ‘Aurora’, ‘Wild Life’, ‘Destiny’, Beautiful’, ‘Feelings’, ‘Inspire’, ‘Touch Down’, ‘Emotions’, ‘Stars’, ‘Don’t Talk About Me’ and ‘You & I’. Nurii is also responsible for the popular radio show ‘Horizon’ which begun in 2015.

Embracing the Future House sound, Nurii’s latest free download comes in the form of ‘Echo’ via French label Drop Fire Records. A groovy House beat gets things kicked off before the breakdown, where the single starts to build courtesy of the FM bass and iconic vocal ‘Get Ready For This’. The drop is full of intensity, impact and is sure to send any clubber wild, before some subtle percussion results in the club filling with groove. The energy levels are brought back in the second breakdown with melodic pluck settings the scene before the FM bass and vocal are reintroduced. The bass-line drops once more and sends the club into chaos again, demonstrating Nurii’s unique production skills.
