Ed Solo & Deekline’s Jungle Cakes Headlines XOYO London Residency in July

Following a killer one-night throwdown in February, influential imprint Jungle Cakes are back to rock the depths of late-night Shoreditch across a rampant four-show stint this summer as they carry the prestigious mantle of July’s Friday night residency at XOYO. Ready to cause nothing but certified underground chaos, Jungle Cakes presents an exceptional 10th-anniversary programme over four weeks from 5th – 26th July, featuring specially curated line ups from Deekline, Ed Solo, Navigator and Benny Page. For weekly line ups, tickets and info on XOYO’s club and live music programme, visit https://www.xoyo.co.uk/whats-on.

Having held several jam-packed events at XOYO London over the last 2 years, it’s no surprise that Jungle Cakes now elevate their relationship with the capital’s leading bass music bastion, providing London and the South East’s devoted Drum & Bass and Jungle massive four more opportunities to immerse themselves in the raucous dancefloor moments that come with any Jungle Cakes show.

Led by Deekline and Ed Solo, 10 Years of Jungle Cakes: The Residency will feature over 50 acts in a who’s who of Jungle royalty alongside esteemed names and label mates. The opening night on 5th July sees Deekline go B2B with Burt Cope Ft. Killa p, Navigator on the mic, and a Green Room takeover from Uncommon Records with a special Noughties set by Ed Solo. Highlights on Friday 12th include Dub Pistols going B2B in a Jungle set with Brockie, an all-out Turntablism set from JTB, and Ed Solo lining up a performance of all things Liquid.

Friday 19th sees Navigator curate the line up whilst celebrating “45 Years On The Mic”, welcoming legends General Levy, Ray Keith, and Serial Killaz B2B with Ed Solo for an unmissable Classic Jungle Cakes Set. The residency finale on the 26th is crammed with talent including Jungle Cakes x Dub Shotta, DJ Hype with Daddy Earl, Benny Page, a live performance from Doktor, and a Hot Cakes takeover in the Green Room with Deekline playing a Breaks & 2Step set.
