EDX x FREY Unite For ‘The Rhythm Of The Night’

Following their massive collaboration, Holy Wood in 2022, Swiss musical powerhouse EDX and German revered producer FREY join forces once again to revisit one of the most iconic songs in dance music, The Rhythm Of The Night – out now via Spinnin’ Records.

Handling Corona’s iconic 90s anthem with care, the producers leave the original vocal firmly intact, while infusing a heavy dose of groove into the mix. Employing rhythmic percussion, guiding synths and raw bass, this deep cut has been tried and tested on dancefloors around the globe, uniting music lovers with its old-school flair and modern twist. Arriving right in time for the Ibiza season kick-off, The Rhythm Of The Night is a sizzling creation that takes the classic to a new dimension.

One of the most dedicated, hard-working characters in the industry, Grammy-nominated DJ, producer and label head, EDX, has spent almost three decades at the forefront of electronic music. Responsible for some of the globe’s most adored dance anthems, including his chart-topping edits of Sam Feldt’s ‘Show Me Love’ and Robin Schulz’s ‘Sugar’, EDX amasses up to 5 million monthly listeners. His ‘NoXcuses’ radio show on iHeart (formerly on SiriusXM’s Electric Area) is currently broadcast to over 40 countries twice a week. With an international touring schedule that regularly sees him cross multiple countries and continents each week, he consistently performs at the most esteemed festivals on the global circuit and has held residencies at some of the world’s most iconic clubs.

Making musical footprints all over the globe, FREY’s name is synonymous with top quality productions, which he has released on an array of the most revered imprints. With tracks on Sony, Warner Spinnin’ and BMG, he holds the perfect formula to create addictive creations that turn heads with their distinctive sound. Receiving support from an impressive list of industry greats, including Tiësto, Firebeatz and Lost Frequencies, to name a few, FREY continues to take the dance music world by storm.
