Mistier came to life through spiritual and musical connections made at Burning Man and the playa’s influence weaves its way through the music. The bass synth riff imbues the track with a sense of Eastern mysticism, triggering an atavistic desire to move to the beat, while the heartfelt lyrics remind us of the spiritual connection open to us all through music and the dancefloor. Andre Mistier comments on ‘Move With Me’, “The day my wife was induced to give birth, a friend was talking about how important it is to him to put his feet in the grass to connect. The positivity and anxiety of the moment combined with this image transported me and opened my mind and heart. I felt strongly that movement is how we connect to everything around us. We are isolated bodies until we move, and once we do we connect to everything- the breeze as we move through it, the sound that moves us, the people we are moving in relation to, the environment we are moving through.”
