It’s been just a month since Formula E’s second season of races drew to a close with two incredible street races in London’s Battersea Park. Since then EJ has been tirelessly working to bring new and fresh music to the crowds with an incredible studio ethic and his festival debut at Ultra Europe Festival. His DJ set saw the debut of several brand new EJ tracks, and going by previous support from the likes of Oliver Heldens, R3hab and Thomas Gold these new weapons look set to cement the racing resident as a force to be reckoned with in dance music.
One of the world’s biggest festival brands, Ultra is hyped every year as a place to find the biggest and best that the dance music scene has to offer. Playing on Arcadia’s infamous Afterburner Stage is a luxury afforded to few, particularly as a DJ’s festival debut. Speaking to 1001tracklists who premiered a recording of his set the excitement of the moment wasn’t lost on the up and coming star:
“At Ultra I was playing 9:30pm-10:30pm which was a great time for the Arcadia Afterburner Stage and there was a packed crowd for my set. It’s a fantastic festival and stage to be playing at. My favourite moment was seeing the reactions to my new track which we do not even have a name for yet. It was incredible!”
