Modern Disco / Funk artists Ekkah are back with their new single ‘Room 4 Love’. Coming off the back of the highly impressive ‘Giving Up On’, which earned support from across the music community including plays on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music. ‘Room 4 Love’ continues the journey for this exciting duo tipped to be the new face of an emerging Disco sound. German star David Jackson is also onboard to deliver a stunning remix.
‘Room 4 Love’ is a statement of intent, which showcases Ekkah’s talent as a production and vocal duo. There’s also a real maturity in their songwriting, displayed for everyone to hear. Much like the predecessor, ‘Room 4 Love’ is made for the summer with an infectious chorus and groovy bassline, which is the beating heart of the record. All the while being a much more club ready single with its beefy percussion and live instrumentation, which is evident with an explosive final third.
“This song is an ode to knowing your own worth, wanting something you can depend on. There’s no room for a love that comes with conditions.” – Ekkah
Having grown up together, the duo bonded over a mutual love of music and soon started writing their own material. They released their debut track ‘Last Chance To Dance’, followed by ‘Small Talk’ and ‘What’s Up’ (collaboration with U.S. producer Dam-Funk), making their mark as one of the most unique, fresh and authentic female bands around. Their unique ability to each play multiple instruments has won them fans across the musical spectrum and ones to watch.
