El Dorado Festival announces day line ups and details on extras & activities

Party creators Cirque Du Soul have unveiled the full line up details of their very first festival – El Dorado, taking place 1-3 July, in response to the huge success of their national club nights. They announce the day line-ups today, as well as details of the various extras and activities programme.

Dance music purveyors Basement Jaxx kick off proceedings on Friday night, with East London's King of Grime Kano bringing the energy Saturday night and the smooth sounds of Craig David's TS5 headlining on Sunday.

Cirque Du Soul will transform the beautiful grounds of Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire, into the lost kingdom of El Dorado; a land believed to have streets paved with gold, layered with lakes of fresh water and green jungles – a land so beautiful you would never want to leave. Promising an escape from everyday life in search of something a little more exotic, El Dorado boasts the ultimate party line up.

Staying true to the Cirque Du Soul ethos, El Dorado will offer so much more than the music. A plethora of other experiences are on offer at this immersive festival. The full range of extra-curricular activities and experiences include some world-class performers; Acrobats, Trapeze Artists, Fire Breathers and more. In the Twisted Play Den expect to find drag hosts Doozy & Bourgeoisie conducting a variety of freak shows, from identical twin Burlesque act The L’Sheila Sisters to contortionist Tommaso.

Head over to The Bizarre Bazaar to find costumes and treasures from Soul Sergeants, Festivalface, The Gypsy Shrine, Lady Jane Bristol, Headlock Vintage, Jepun, Beam Shoes, The GolDen, Gem Mania, Couture Costumes, Fairy Love Fortune Telling and Live Art.

El Dorado explorers will be kept entertained with Body Painting, a Ball Pit Pyramid, Treasure Hunts, Slack Lining, the Volley Ball World Cup, Dance Offs, Gladiators, a Slip & Vibe Slide and huge Installations. Stilt walkers, tree men, flexy animals and more will roam the site.

After playing hard, festival-goers can head for some Wellness & Recovery at the Mobile Massage Parlour, take part in a spot of Morning Yoga, Lake Swimming or Skinny Dipping. Start the day with a Sunrise Drum Circle or laze away an afternoon in Hammock Heaven. Luxury Tipis and Club Class Pampering are available for the more glamorous camper.
