South London’s popular live music space Electric Brixton announces a variety of live music shows and club events throughout Autumn 2015, including a highly anticipated show from dance music pioneer Matthew Herbert on 5 December.
Throughout November, the independent venue welcomes acts including US hip-hop artist Yelawolf on 4 November, and the just-announced experimental jazz ensemble Jaga Jazzist on 5 November. Towards the end of the month on the 21st, Electric Brixton will host a very special show from Autechre, their first London show in five years, with support from Objekt, Powell, Russell Haswell and Rob Hall.
December welcomes US hip-hop duo Rae Stremmurd, who caused a buzz in the music world with their break out track ‘No Flex Zone’. After selling out their first date on 13 Dec, English R&B duo comprising Marsha Ambrosius and Natalie Stewart, otherwise known as Floetry, add a second date on 14 December.
It’s also been confirmed that Sasha will play all night long on New Year’s Eve. Taking place on Thursday 31st December, Last Night On Earth in London will allow the label boss a rare chance to enter trademark territory as he returns to play a hugely anticipated eight hour set.
