Electric Daisy Carnival – Back in the Big Apple in 2016

Today, Insomniac and partner Pacha announced that the 5th annual Electric Daisy Carnival, New York (EDC NY) will return to the heart of the city on May 14-15, 2016. The trademark Insomniac festival will move from the tri-state area back to Citi Field for a two-day event that will be bigger and better than ever.

Fans are getting a first look at the festival’s increased footprint with the release of an initial festival map, complete with a brand new stage layout, full-scale carnival rides, interactive art installations and the East Coast premiere of Carnival Square.

A fan favorite destination, Carnival Square will provide attendees with the ideal place to connect with friends, meet new people and enjoy festival amenities.

The space will host fresh food fares, special artist meet-and-greet stations, a photo booth, exclusive festival and artist merchandise, cell phone recharging stations, EDC’s iconic Ferris wheel, art installations and so much more.

Four incredible stages will surround festival goers including kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, cosmicMEADOW, and neonGARDEN each displaying their own unique production and scenic elements. The entire grounds of the festival will combine the visionary pillars of EDC – technology, nature and art – into one.

Weekend passes for this 18+ event will go on sale Cyber Monday, November 30 at 12 pm ET at http:/NewYork.ElectricDaisyCarnival.com.

Two-day general admission and VIP passes will start at $199 plus fees and $459 plus fees, respectively.
