Huxley & Skapes - Electronic Drums EP

Huxley and Skapes join Solardo’s Sola imprint this June to deliver their ‘Electronic Drums’ EP.

Following on from their 2017 collaborative EP ‘Don’t Call’ on Green Velvet’s Relief imprint, Huxley and Skapes combine once again to unveil two kinetic house cuts on Solardo’s label Sola. With a stream of releases on the likes of Moon Harbour, Avotre and Josh Butler’s Origins Rcrds in the past 12 months alone, Huxley has continued to solidify his position as one of house music's leading talents, whilst rising DJ/producer Skapes has quickly emerged as ‘one to watch’ with material on Armada Subject, ABODE and more.

Title cut ‘Electronic Drums’ kicks off proceedings as organic percussion shots and infectious vocal hooks combine fluently over a rumbling bass line to reveal an up-front production that’s set to become a favourite for many throughout the summer months ahead. On the flip, ‘Say Nothing’ keeps the tempo and energy levels high as the duo work slick drum licks amongst bright stabs and a bubbling lead synth to shape up an impressive offering on the label.

Huxley & Skapes ‘Electronic Drums’ is out on Sola on 22nd June 2018.
